Sacramento, CA – The California Charter Schools Association (CCSA) proudly announced the recipients of the 2025 Hart Vision Awards, recognizing the extraordinary contributions of charter public school educators, leaders, and supporters who are driving innovation and excellence in California's charter school movement.
Established in 1995 in honor of former California State Senator and Secretary of Education Gary K. Hart, the visionary behind the Charter Schools Act of 1992, the Hart Vision Awards are among the highest honors in California’s charter school community. Presented annually at the California Charter Schools Conference, these awards celebrate individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional leadership, advocacy, and dedication to advancing charter public schools.
"At the heart of every great charter public school is a team of educators, leaders, and advocates dedicated to student success. This year’s Hart Vision Award recipients have gone above and beyond to create or support learning environments where students can thrive. Their work represents the best of California’s charter school movement, and we are honored to celebrate their achievements," said Myrna Castrejón, President and CEO of CCSA.
CCSA has produced a special video series highlighting the outstanding work of the 2025 Hart Vision Award winners. Please click the links below to learn more about each honoree.
